The Stanley & May Story

A Heritage of Design & Sentiment
The inherent style of Stanley & May comes from my grandparents, who instinctively knew what made a house a home and I am proud to carry on their timeless traditions in the company today. They both shared a profound appreciation for travel and the quiet joy of artisanal homeware. My grandad was an exceptionally gifted joiner, and my granny came from a long line of art restorers. Together, they possessed an impeccable eye for design; there was absolutely nothing ubiquitous about their space. Instead, it was filled with unique, soulful items that gave their home a real sense of style and flair, whilst always feeling deeply warm and welcoming.

This love of curating beautiful spaces continued through my mother, an interior designer whose time spent living in Zanzibar and France further fuelled our family's passion for global antiques, characterful textiles, and those distinct personal touches that give a room its identity. Born from this lifelong love and shaped by my own career in design, I always hankered after creating a meaningful homeware emporium—and so, Stanley & May was born.

Our Curation: Distinctive, Mindful, and Soulful
At Stanley & May, we take the time to personally source beautiful, one-of-a-kind products to ensure your home feels entirely your own, never replicated. We believe in the power of visual layering and textiles that tell a story.

Step inside our collection and delight in vintage linen Suzanis, hand-crafted one-off ceramics, and authentic Indian Kantha quilts.

Transform your dining spaces with our vibrant, hand-stamped block-printed tablecloths and napkins from Jaipur, or ground your living rooms with our Moroccan poufs, meticulously hand-crafted in Marrakech from authentic vintage carpets.

Every single piece we bring to you is selected with intention, designed to add character, charm, and an individual edge to your modern, curated home.
